We are currently partnering with a growing boutique employment and commercial litigation firm seeking an Employment & Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its collaborative practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to manage sophisticated employment litigation matters from inception through trial while working alongside experienced litigators dedicated to mentorship, professional growth, and exceptional client service. The firm is also open to attorneys from adjacent civil litigation backgrounds who are interested in transitioning into employment law through extensive internal training and hands-on experience.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Active membership and good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (or ability to obtain admission)
- Experience independently managing litigation matters
- Trial experience, including first-chair experience or significant second-chair trial involvement
- Experience taking and defending depositions and examining witnesses
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Strong communication and client relationship management abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters
- Employment litigation experience preferred
- Background in insurance defense, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, or other civil litigation practice areas is welcomed
- Strong academic credentials and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset are a plus
