Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Clinical Restorative Dentistry (AC Track)

The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, invites applications from qualified individuals for a position in the Department with a focus on Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. This full-time faculty position in the Academic Clinician track at the assistant, associate, professor level calls for a person who, through excellence in teaching and clinical practice in prosthodontics, is able to build and maintain the Department's reputation nationally and internationally through leadership and direction of Department activities. These activities include teaching in predoctoral, both clinical and pre-clinical, and postdoctoral education programs as well as research and service to the community. Responsibilities can also include projects as assigned by the Division Director of PG Prosthodontics, Associate Chair/Chair of the department. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an accredited Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and are eligible/board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics. The successful candidate should have (recommended) a DDS or DMD degree and be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The posting is open until filled.
Qualifications
Qualifications for this position include a DMD/DDS degree or equivalent; experience with teaching and mentoring students and experience in research and scholarship. Preference will be given to candidates with who have completed an accredited Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and are board certified or eligible by the American Board of Prosthodontics.
