Fortitude Re is rapidly growing and we have multiple open actuarial positions at the Actuarial Associate level, which require 1.5 years of experience in an actuarial role. This individual will be working toward Associateship/Fellowship of the SOA, CAS, or IFoA and will have passed a minimum of four actuarial exams. This individual will have an undergraduate degree with preference for mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, or other quantitative fields.

Our roles are diverse and cover areas such as:
- Pricing analyses, sensitivities and analytics
- GAAP, Statutory, hedging and embedded value modelling
- US cash flow testing
- Bermuda economic balance sheet
- Valuation and financial reporting
- Support of inforce management initiatives
- Review and analysis of reinsurance settlements
- Development and analysis of liability key performance indicators
- Quality Assurance (first line independent testing and validation of models)
- Capital management
- And more
- Strong technical skills (Excel skills required)
- Knowledge of SQL, familiarity with programming in R or Python
- Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Exposure to actuarial software such as GGY/Moody’s AXIS
