As the Account Executive representing AndersonOrd in Maine, Massachussetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island this person will be responsible for managing their territory's book of business, customer relationships, and all aspects of the sales process for existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with knowledge of the golf and retail industry and a passion for golf, apparel, customer service, and managing accounts.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree with experience in golf industry, retail or sales.
- PGA Professional certification a plus.
- Familiarity with RepSpark.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with online Google products (Forms and Docs).
- Detail oriented, extremely well organized with strong time management skills.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned geographic territory to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Identify and prioritize A, B, and C club accounts, corporate accounts, and extended partners within the territory.
- Balance time between prospecting, managing existing accounts, and seeding key decision-makers.
- Maintain a disciplined travel and meeting schedule to ensure maximum territory coverage and efficiency.
- Drive sales by introducing AndersonOrd's premium Lifeleisure apparel and footwear to new accounts.
- Know and present seasonal collections and ensure proper sell-in and reorder follow-up.
- Develop strong pipelines through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities (corporate, resort, lifestyle retail, and cross-industry partnerships).
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with club professionals, buyers, and decision-makers.
- Provide superior customer service and quick follow-up to ensure account satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for accounts in the territory, representing AndersonOrd's premium brand standards at all times.
- Partner with accounts to ensure AndersonOrd product is displayed and merchandised according to AO brand guidelines.
- Support product knowledge training for club staff and retail associates.
- Collaborate with accounts on events, trunk shows, and on-site activations to drive brand awareness.
- Track sales activity, account progress, and pipeline development in CRM systems
- Provide regular territory performance reports, including wins, challenges, and market feedback, to leadership.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends within the territory to ensure AO remains positioned as the premium choice.
- Work closely with AO's National Sales Manager, CFO, and marketing team to execute the AO Way of Selling.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align sales execution with inventory, marketing, and operational strategies.
- Represent AndersonOrd with integrity, enthusiasm, and professionalism at all times-driving not just sales, but the brand pride and lifestyle AO stands for.
