The Golf Shop Salesperson plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience at our golf facility. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, managing retail operations, and ensuring the shop is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for golf, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality shopping experience for all customers.

-Pay Range-

$16.50/hour to $22.00/hour depending on skills and experience.
Full time or Part time available. Being able to work on weekends and holidays is preferred.

-Duties-

* Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries regarding products and services.
* Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the golf shop, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.
* Conduct product demos to educate customers about the features and benefits of merchandise.
* Upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
* Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with merchandising strategies.
* Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
* Conduct monthly inventory check.

* Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
* Experience with merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that attract customers.
* Ability to upsell products through persuasive communication while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
* Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
* Previous supervising experience is beneficial for managing shop operations smoothly.
